I am passionate about women feeling comfortable in their body following treatment for breast cancer. A nipple tattoo onto the blank skin of a reconstructed breast can often be the step that allows that to happen. I would love to be the person to work with you to make this happen. Linley is our Lymphoedema Therapist who can help you in the assessment and management of lymphoedema. Linley is trained to perform MLLD and apply the normal bandaging that can be applied to help reduce and control lymphoedema , and provide a range of exercises tailored to suit individual needs including advice.
The tape is light and feels like skin, unlike the thick compression stockings. We are a group of women who have been through Her 2 positive breast cancer and all the treatments, and welcome any women having treatment regardless of the type of breast cancer. We are available to support women either by phone or email , while they are having treatment. We organise informal meetings with as many women as possible together, as required, in either Hamilton or Cambridge or somewhere in between.

The programs are delivered by certified Cancer Rehab Physiotherapists and are specifically designed to help maximise recovery, regain physical and emotional strength, improve body confidence and control. PINC programs cater for all ages, levels of fitness and mobility, and can include: Manual physiotherapy, Physical and functional assessments, Individual Clinical Pilates, Fatigue Management, Resistance Training, and Exercise prescription.
The Regional Cancer Centre located at Waikato Hospital, Hamilton, comprises an inpatient ward day care and chemotherapy suite, outpatient department, and radiation treatment facility. The service itself spans medical and radiation oncology haematology and palliative care with staff actively involved with service development both at a local and national level. We co-ordinate outreach and community based services from this centre providing both service and support to the Midland region.
The unit is centrally located in the Lomas Building on the Waikato Hospital site. In addition, the unit has a dedicated bed inpatient ward runs peripheral clinics at Thames, Tauranga, Rotorua, and Whakatane.
